Welcome to the Cambridge PhD Clinic!

Are you stressed out about writing, or not sure which direction to take next? Struggling to pin down those research questions, or Lost In Data Analysis? Not to worry, the PhD Clinic is here to help!

The PhD Clinic is a series of informal workshops aimed at Cambridge graduate students in the language, cognitive and social sciences. Our mission is to boost your ability to carry out your research! We treat common PhD-related diseases like Dissertation Stress Disorder (DSD), Study Design Fever (SDF), Dissociative Research Question Disorder (DRQD), various statistics phobias, and other ailments. Sounds familiar? Or do you suffer from a PhD disorder not mentioned here? Either way, tell us what’s up and we will try our best to find you a cure! You can also click here to read more about who we are and what we do.

Want to register for our next workshop?

We organise one workshop per term – click here to find out more about what’s coming up. If you have ideas for future workshops, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!

Check out our sister initiative, the Cambridge DOCking Station!

The PhD Clinic is nicely complemented by the Cambridge DOCking Station. Similar to us, they also put on interdisciplinary events aimed at Cambridge graduate students in the language, cognitive and social sciences. Basically, the DOCking station provides a space for you to explore interdisciplinary approaches to your own research. Curious? Then we suggest that you head over to their website to find out more!
